A New Year’s pretzel is a made with a coffee cake dough formed into the shape of a pretzel.  It is traditionally eaten on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day to bring good luck and prosperity in the new year.  The tradition is thought to have originated from the way German monks prayed with their arms crossed in front of their chests during their evening prayers on New Year’s Eve.

Our Raspberry New Year’s Pretzels have a fresh raspberry filling rolled throughout the dough and are topped with a sweet fondant buttercream icing.
